152 Sea Island Lake Cottage is nestled in a superb gated community connected to Sea Island, Georgia, via the bike path and Sea Island Road. This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath residence has spectacular views of the private lake and is just under 4,000 square feet of climate-controlled space. Because this property is an end unit, it feels much more like a home than a townhouse. These units were built to commercial standards and high-end interior finishes seen in other Addison Mizner-style homes. When you arrive at the cottage, you will enter the living space either through an elegant cast-stone staircase or a private elevator, which services all floors. From the foyer, you will see the gracious living room with a fireplace and built-in shelves. The living room flows out onto a large screened porch with a built-in grill. Past the living room, separated by an arched doorway is the large family room with another large built-in bookcase. The family room connects to the kitchen through an eat-in bar. The lovely kitchen is a great place to entertain and features upgraded appliances, a bar with an ice maker and wine cooler, and a pantry/laundry room. Also on the main level are two additional bedroom suites each with their own full bath plus an additional half bath. The entire top floor is a master suite. The elevator landing adjacent to the primary suite has a small bar and enough room for a nice-sized sitting room. The primary suite is enormous and has two large walk-in closets, a beautiful dressing area, and a spa-like bath. Having the primary suite on its own floor affords the owners of this home privacy. Lush landscaping separates this unit from the community’s pool, which keeps the unit quiet but makes you feel like the unit has its own pool. The home’s features are too numerous to count but include a clay tile roof; wood, terracotta tile, and marble flooring; vaulted ceilings; rough-hewn timber beams; v-joint tongue and groove ceilings; and cast stone throughout. The owner has also freshly painted the property to make sure it's ready for you. The first floor features an oversized two-car garage and approximately 1,100 sq. ft of heated and cooled sq. ft. for storage; others have built out this space into additional bedrooms or living space. Convenient to all of the mid-island restaurants and shops that St Simons Island has to offer! This Lake Cottage offers the very best in bright and spacious living in one of the most secure, gated neighborhoods on the Georgia Coast. Check out our videos and virtual tours of this Property.
